About me

We Are All Made of
the People We've Loved

I relocated to Italy without a roadmap; learned the language, figured out the systems, and quietly did the work of becoming someone recognisable to myself in a place that wasn't yet home. That experience informed my work in ways I couldn't have anticipated: adaptation is not just resilience. It involves grief, identity work, and a sustained effort to belong.I specialise in Transcultural Systemic Psychotherapy (ISST), an approach rooted in the belief that no one exists in isolation. By viewing individuals within their unique social and cultural contexts, I help clients navigate life's challenges, strengthen their relational bonds, and develop a clearer, more integrated sense of self. Because I understand the "integration journey" intimately, I am acutely aware of the unique struggles expats face, the disorientation, the invisible weight of adapting, and the particular loneliness of feeling like your whole context needs explaining before you can even get to the real thing. I am here to walk alongside you as you make sense of it all.As a plurilingual therapist - native in English and Hindi, fluent in Italian; I work across languages so you shouldn't have to carry the extra effort of translating your feelings or simplifying your story to be understood. My commitment is to provide ethical, effective, and culturally sensitive care within a warm, collaborative environment. Whether you are navigating personal distress, relationship difficulties, or the disorientation of a major life transition, I offer a grounded, professional space where you are met as a whole person, not just the difficulty that brought you here.

My Approach

Systemic Relational Therapy

No one exists in isolation; We are all shaped by the people and systems around us.

Systemic relational therapy operates on the premise that individuals are intrinsically interconnected within a matrix of relationships and social contexts. Sometimes, when things feel off, it's not only about what's going on inside you, but also about what's happening in those relationships. Think of it like a network: we're all connected to different people and systems, like family, friends, work, cultural backgrounds and histories. When something feels off, it's often because there's a disruption or imbalance somewhere in that network. Rather than focusing only on what feels wrong, we look together at the patterns, dynamics, and contexts that may be keeping you stuckIn our sessions, you can expect a space defined by warmth and empathy, a safe, non-judgmental environment where you are free to explore your deepest concerns. While I am here to provide unwavering support, I also believe in the value of a gentle challenge; I will nudge you toward growth when we identify patterns or behaviours that no longer serve your well-being. I strive to make the therapeutic process feel deeply human and grounded. To that end, I occasionally integrate a sense of perspective and appropriate humour into our work. These moments of shared insight can often create mental flexibility where there was once rigidity, making the journey of change feel more accessible and more human. My clinical focus extends beyond immediate symptom relief. I aim to help you develop lasting emotional clarity, stronger boundaries, and a coherent sense of belonging, both within yourself and your relationships. To achieve this, we explore how your social environments and interpersonal connections influence your internal world. By examining the impact of family dynamics, friendships, work environments, or romantic partnerships, we can better understand what is driving your emotional experience and work toward a life that feels more balanced, more yours.
